I really tried not to...
Sep. 18th, 2002 02:00 amI'm in a good mood, so I'm gonna gripe some more about my current downers. Sorry.
A few more things that bug me.
1. These jeans. They will not stay on. Yes, this is a good thing that they're almost to big to wear anymore, but it's driving me nuts to pull them up every five minute. How do guys handle it? At least I have hips to keep them on(when they fit).
2. Psalty. Now don't get me wrong, I love children's programing. I will always have a weakness for Sessame Street, Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, Blue's Clues, VegieTales and the latest Disney animated feature, but there are certain things in the genre I cannot stand. Barney, TeleTubbies and most christian children's shows are among them. Psalty is the worst of the last sub-genre. It's got the most annoyingly peppy songs, insipit lines and worst of all some obnoxious morral. If there's one thing I can't stand it's being moralized at through any form of entertainment media. It's always so blatantly manipulative. Please people, either be very subtle, or lay out your points in a logical manner and let me make up my own mind on the matter. Don't ram it down my throat and demand that I view things your way. Even if I agree with you I'll still cheerfully chop your nuts off and flay your skin.
3. Two words: Neil. Diamond.
4. Feedback bitches. People who complain about 'demands', and little three line, 'I really liked that' feed backs. Honnestly, unless they're actively flaming you, be gracious. Take it as a compliment, and ignore whatever bugs you. Stop complaining about in in your LJ or on your lists. All you're saying is 'Oh, poor me. People like me. I wish they'd stop unless they're planning on writing an essay about how much.' Flonqing egomainacs, chill out.
5. Adam being online when I want to talk to Crystal.
6. People jumping all over a girl on my list because she made one tiny suggestion, as a joke. Honnestly, whatever happened to 'live and let live', 'everyone's entitled to their own oppinion', and if nothing else kindergarten's 'if you can't say nothing nice, don't say nothing at all'? Prozac people, please, take some.
7. (If you can't tell) People being upset with other people. It has the ability to stress me out soooo much. Please, just take a deep breath, act like the mythological 'adult', and let it go. Life can be so much better when you chill out a little bit.
