The New York Times had some excellent articles today:

Joanne Lipman talks about the strides (and lack thereof) that feminism has made in the last thirty years in The Mismeasure of a Woman "Part of the reason we’ve lost our way, part of the reason my generation became complacent, is that many of us have been defining progress for women too narrowly. We’ve focused primarily on numbers at the expense of attitudes."

Children on Their Own is first of two articles on the growing number of young runaways in the United States, exploring how they survive and efforts by the authorities to help them.

And finally, Disney is held accountable for misleading marketing, as it turns out that all television (yes, even baby Einstein) is damaging for children under 3.
