life update

inteligrrlQuick update, as I'm feeling guilty and don't have time to email everyone I owe an email to.
1. Moving went fine. Amanda and I are set up and I like my new place SO much better than the old. The battle of the junk is ongoing, as Amanda can be even more of a mess than myself. However it is great to come home and have someone to hang out and watch movies with.
2. Went to disneyland with the family when they came down. LOVED seeing the sisters. Spent way too much money on them all, but it was worth it. Restrained lexis from putting a hit out on Jessica's boyfriend. Good times, good times.
3. I spent WAY to much money this weekend:
3 new CD's - Sia, Ani Di Franco, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs. It all makes me happy, as it's the first cd's I've bought in almost a year. I've been craving music. Plus, there's this fantastic independant radio station (www.91x.com) that's got me all inspired.
2 new DVD's - Brokeback Mountain & Shakespear In Love. Both movies I love and my parents hate/object strenuously to.
4 books - 2 Terry Pratchet books, a Laurie R. King book and a book of crossword puzzles (I'm addicted to all forms of puzzles).
2 pairs of flip flops - tan & blue. I thought about black, but seriously, it's summer.
1 wedding present - black and grey towels. Seriously, the bride picked them out.
All that and paying for groceries came to over $300 dollars. And I don't get paid for another two weeks. God I was bad. Also, I need to find a used CD store, cause I can't keep buying them new. That's just crap.
Anyhow, Love you all, you're in my prayers. Audieu.
