Had my first bartending class today. It was actually really fun. I'm hoping to pick up a job with it really quickly as my current job is not supporting me (totally the fault of incompetent management, btw.) Anyhow, money's a bit tight for the next few weeks till I can get something lined up. At the moment what I'm looking forward to most is seeing the new Star Wars. I even have tickets to the midnight showing and I'll be going with several friends.

I'd say give it about 6 months before applying, hopefully by then we'll have a decent District Manager. The discount's amazing! 40% normally and 55% on select weekends. It's deffinitely a good thing to do if it's a second job instead of your only one.

p.s. any suggestions for a good place to tend bar?

I'm jealous about Star Wars, and I feel even dorkier for saying it. Hope the bartending turns out well, other than the way too drunk people, it should be fun. And don't feel bad about being broke, I just got from Albuquerque with two dollars in my purse and nothing saved. I love the college/high school life.

Funnily enough I'll be among the *least* dorky of the crew I'm going with. Go figure! Anyhow I wouldn't feel bad about being broke, but I need to buy groceries! Oh well, back to crackers for dinner. *huggles*

being a bartender you get to see the funniest stuff. just remember to take everything with a grain of salt. I wish you the best of luck and prayers, but knowing you, you wont need them. I do miss you greatly.
