After a long and difficult ordeal I finally figured out which of my extensions was causing my avi files not to work. Now what I'd like to know is if those people who download episodes of various shows regularly would be willing to help me.

I'd like to get ahold of episodes of Buffy (seasons 4 - 7) and Gilmore Girls, at the moment I'm desperate enough for a distraction I'd about sell my soul. So, if you're interested in helping a desperate girl out AIM me at intelligrrl.

In fanfic: Previous rec requests apply, though I am now also looking for Scrubs fanfic featuring JD and his supervising doctor what'shisname (he with the bitchy ex).

On a school related note: Anyone know where some good (preferably concise) information is on events in the last ten years in Northern Africa? Just about any topic is welcome, so give me your links on North African things from Archeology to widgets to AIDS. Please?

Hello,
I read your last post and felt bad for you, so I did a little quick checking and I have some possible suggestions. I am posting under this topic because if any of them work, they might really cheer you up. (over the weekend or now) Also, I don't mean to bring up painful things again if you are trying to put them and the unfairness of life behind you, but I figured that a possible solution would be worth the risk.

That being said, have you tried Amtrak or Greyhound?
I looked up round-trip fairs from El Paso, TX(they didn't have Silver City, NM listed, it was either El Paso, TX Tucson, AZ or Albuquerque, NM and I thought El Paso looked the closest on a map)to San Diego, CA with the dates of May 5 for departure and May 20 as the return and I came up with what I thought were some very reasonable prices.

For Amtrak using the above info the price for one standard adult came to $212.00, but if you are a member of AAA they offer a discount and then the price becomes $190.80.

When I tried the above info for Greyhound I came up with $112.00 for 1 standard adult, but they also offered a discount for 3-day advanced purchase.

Both Amtrak and Greyhound have a 15% student discount as well but you have to have a "Student Advantage" card that costs 20 dollars(+S&H) and it doesn't stack with any of the other discounts.
