Life Update

inteligrrlWell, I've kept pretty quiet so that I don't jinx myself, but since things seem to be pretty solid I'll go ahead and update.
Brief catch up to now.
June 18th: Quit job at Lane Bryant due to incompetent management and evil district manager.(due to them fucking around with my hours I hadn't bought groceries for almost a month and a half) Had job at Prudential Realty lined up.
Went home for dad's 50th birthday.
Upheaval in Prudential Realty office, job falls through days before I'm supposed to start. Suckage abounds. Still don't regret quitting Lane Bryant though.
Fast forward to Sept. I've spent 2 months not working and only making rent by the skin of my teeth and the help of friends/family(not my parents though, still refused to ask). I picked up a part time job at Charlotte Russe ( *gags* ) thanks to my first boss from Lane Bryant, who now manages that store. Also thanks to her I found out about a job as a receptionist for the Child Development Center on the Naval Station Base, however paperwork takes forever and I spent a lot of time jumping through hoops. (still no groceries. Thank God for the Kruegers, who let me go over to their house and eat a couple of times a week.)
Anyhow, today I got my military id (with a pretty decent picture if I do say so myself) and Monday I go to orientation. Hopefully I'll start that week or the one after. I'm sooooooo looking forward to money. And groceries. And seeing a movie sometime.
So, that's the state of my life. Cross your fingers that it continues going well.
