inteligrrlLast night a tragedy occurred.
Sometime between three and four am my computer died.
The worst bit is that my warranty expired less than a week ago.
After a long and horrific day involving much tec support and attempted reboots it has been decided that my hard drive has bit the dust. Now, a good $250 dollars (which I didn't have) poorer my laptop is being shipped to the apple repairs shop where they will attempt to save my baby or replace the hard drive.
If that's not bad enough I found the four or five disks I'd backed much of it up on had been either scratched beyond repair or broken after my brother got into my cd's. I had planned to re-back-up tomorrow.
Because of all this it is unlikely that I'll see any of you online for a minimum of two weeks. I've already set my groups to no email and will be forced to give up on checking most everyones LJ's. I hope to see you after that though my friends.
Farewell my 12 gigs of music.
Adios my large and lovely collection of quirky pictures.
So long my pirated copy of Photoshop.
And finally, good-bye to my last five years worth of fanfic that I have both read and written.
