LJ joys and woes

phatgirlfics has just deleted her lj. It's not fair!!!!!! Why do the best writers do these things? I mean I assume they're not trying to hurt me personally, but they really ought to take me into account anyhow.

*Resolves to get over things that have been comming for like a year already*

On the upside as of now I have thezeppo, kleio, chocolate_frog, diana_wolf, lunarennui, ivyblossom, ladykardasi and angeleledhwen who've got me friended back. It makes me feel cool that people I've worshiped from affar for a while (but by all rights they probably shouldn't know my name) have me friended. Even if I know most of them won't ever read this journal, it's still one of the coolest things to me.

Anyhow, I send much loff to all those who have me friended, especially those who aren't listed above. You guys make my day infinitely cooler.

I feel old.

Yes, I know I'm not even 20 yet, but it doesn't help to tell me that.

You see, my little brother Zachary just turned four yesterday. And yeah that's great and all, but little kids grow up so fast. They're babies one day and getting married the next. I've seen it happen enough to know it's true.

I suppose the real trouble I have with that is the fact that I'm 15 years older than he is. When he turns fifteen I'll be thirty, and that's what makes me feel old.

I do hope my parents don't have any more children, I don't need further proof of my own mortality. Besides, five siblings is enough wouldn't you say?
