Unfortunately his parents will never aprove...
*Warning* many LotR names are probably misspelled as I can't be arsed to go check them by the book at 2 in the morning.
I just spent the evening with Asa, my own personal boy-slasher.
*loffs Asa*
We saw TTT together, again. It was great commenting on all the lovely slashy (and even a bit of Elrond/Arwen, Eomer/Eowyn hetty) moments.
It has been decided:
1. Sam/Gollum is a definite possibility, especially as Frodo is not to be slashed with anyone his hight or smaller.
2. King Theoden and Aragorn were lovers at one point, but had a falling out. The captain of Theoden's guard (the one who put the armor on him) is definitely his current passion, and they are much better suited to each other as captain boy is quite stable enough for the two of them.
3. Faramir is hot (with lovely hair!) and it is quite unfortunate that Boromir is dead and Aragorn in another country, as there is no one in his current company who is worthy of his slashiness. Not even Frodo.
4. Merry & Pippin - in the words of
cassieclaire "tiny people in love, really quite cute."
5. though Eomer/Wormtongue would be quite nifty, there's no separating Eomir from Eowyn. Besides they make such a pretty couple.
6. Gimli/Legolas are the best couple of the movie. Love the way they always ride the same horse.
7. Side potential couples include: Aragorn/Legolas, Aragorn/Haladir, Legolas/Haladir, Aragorn/Gandalf, and I must mention my personal favs (though they were never on screen together in this ep) Frodo/Gandalf and Frodo/Aragorn.
8. No one will consider any pairing with an Ent. Why, you ask? One word. Splinters.
9. It is obvious that the only reason that Tolkein's work isn't actually considered slash is that Tolkein himself appeared not to believe in sex. This enabled moralists to ignore and propaganda over all slashy interpretations.
As a side note, it is both amusing and irritating when Arwen and others keep saying "there is still hope." It is something very easy to say when Aragorn's elvish name (Estel) means hope!
Asa is Robin to my Batman. If you hadn't guessed, the "BoySlasher" is a take off on Boy Wonder. Now I just have to figure out a good Batman-y slasher-girl nickname.
*snickers* on a semi-unrelated note, his sister dislikes me, as she knows I'm a slasher and thinks I'll rope in her little brother. Little does she know that this is one eleven year old who is already more inclined to slash than I am!
*has hope for the next generation*

This had me in stitches, girl!
*laughs hard* This comment has got to be the most brilliant one. It's worth of a quote!
